- Starts April 22, 2008 and runs 10 sessions (1.25 hr game nights).
- Limited to first 24 skaters and three goalies who register
- Not a skills clinic but rather it’s playing hockey games in an environment designed to improve ‘game intelligence’.
- Targets 2008-09 12U and 14U players who have already developed strong passing and puck handling skills.
- Speed of Mind (SOM) playing rules have shown to dramatically improve team puck possession and individual player responsibly with and without the puck.
This league is not a substitute for hockey camps that develop fundamental skating, shooting and passing skills, but rather is designed as a unique compliment to these camps. The times of SOM do not conflict with Mike McCormack’s spring skills.
